So we're eight games into the season, and the team holds a 1-7 record. Despite the record, the overall mentality of the team and how it approaches and plays suggests that things are about to change in a big way. Our QB(Prunty), RB(Daniels) and WR(Frazier) of the future are already in place. We have a young and talented group of LBs, and with the hire of the new strength and conditioning coach, who came from the SEC, we should improve up front on both sides of the ball as well as overall. Most importantly, I think we finally have a competent head coach in Earnest Wilson III. It is clear, at least it is to me, that Coach Wilson knows what he's doing. In three out of the four conference games, the team has generated more the 400 yards in total offense. Once he gets his recruits on the field, we're going to see something very special. We, as alums and fans, must be patient and give him the time he needs and demand that the administration does the same. Our time is coming, sooner rather than later.
